I’m running for First Selectman because I believe Simsbury needs a cohesive, strategic vision. We’re a town of incredible people, energy, and potential, with a rich history and natural beauty— but time and again, we’re working in silos, reacting to growth instead of planning for it. It’s time to come together and chart a thoughtful, unified course for our future.
Why?
We are facing both opportunities and pressures. Every decision we make has a ripple effect – often not immediately seen. With a thoughtful, long-term vision, we can grow responsibly, preserve our character, and ease the burden on taxpayers. It’s time for leadership that sees the whole picture — and leads with clarity.
Simsbury already has the ingredients — an engaged community, a strong identity, and a beautiful, livable town. It is time to align our actions with those assets to create a shared vision that reflects who we are and where we want to go. Simsbury’s future depends on thoughtfully and strategically connecting the pieces that make up our town because each piece represents an essential component of a strong, vibrant, and future-ready town. Alone, each piece matters — but together, they are the guarantors of
sustainable progress for generations to come.

I’ve spent years listening, learning, and working with residents, town employees, and volunteers. I’m ready to lead with integrity, vision, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our whole community—not just a few parts of it.
A vision must capture all the moving parts:
- Streamline services and maximize our many town assets
- Thoughtful grand list growth that aligns with our values, instead of relying on constant tax increases
- Support our current businesses to thrive, not just survive & attract new businesses that complement our town
- Invest in walkable, vibrant, cohesive downtown areas
- Strategically plan for development & housing because housing is directly tied to emergency services, traffic and infrastructure, school enrollment, tax base growth. Each type of housing impacts the town differently – so we must balance benefits and pressures
- Invest in vibrant cultural programming, well-maintained parks, and accessible recreational opportunities that strengthen community connections, enhance quality of life, and preserve Simsbury’s reputation as a welcoming, active, and culturally rich town
- Promote environmentally responsible practices in town planning, energy use, and infrastructure to protect Simsbury’s natural resources, reduce long-term costs, and ensure a healthy, resilient community
- Preserve open space, character, and scenic beauty
- Public Safety is economic development -businesses want to invest and people choose to live where they feel safe.
- Public Safety must also be included in growth planning as we address appropriate staffing, street safety and accessibility, response time and emergency access
All these pieces must fit together for us to grow and thrive while retaining our character, charm and all the traits that make Simsbury special.

My husband, Charlie and I moved to Simsbury in 2006 and since have had the great privilege of raising our three children in this special community.
Professionally, I bring a unique blend of private sector and public service experience. I began my career as an Equities Trader for Goldman Sachs International in London, before returning to the U.S. to pursue further education at Cornell Medical College earning a post graduate degree as a certified Physician Assistant. My background in finance, healthcare, and community engagement gives me a well-rounded and analytical approach to solving complex town issues.
As a resident, a parent, a professional, and a public servant, I have long believed that good governance starts with listening — and I will bring that same principle into my campaign for First Selectman. My goal is to unite Simsbury around smart, strategic
planning for growth, while preserving our history and all that currently makes Simsbury unique, and I intend to lead with clarity, integrity, and a deep love for the community I call home.
